Sr. Field Heavy Equipment Technician

Position Requirements:

Successful applicants for a Senior Field Technician 1 must possess 10 plus years of experience as a heavy equipment repair professional, including but not restricted to:

• Capability to travel by driving and maintaining company-owned vehicles as per company and DOT regulations
• High-level diagnostic and repair experience with heavy equipment (construction, mining, material handling, paving, milling, etc.)
• Skill to repair, dismantle, rebuild, or replace engines and other significant parts
• Specialized knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, etc. systems
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft products as well as industry software
• Skill to read and write the English language
• Skill to communicate repair details in clear and accurate service notes for assigned work orders
• Involvement in writing customer quotes and providing best-in-class customer service
• Mentoring less experienced mechanics in the branch operations
• Heavy equipment operation
• Other tasks as assigned
