Wilcox is looking for energetic, hardworking individuals to join our Hydraulics/Service Team. Full time day in our truck body division.

Hydraulics Technician/Installer responsibilities include:
Installation of hydraulic systems including:
PTO’s
Pumps
Compressors (Under the Hood and Above Deck)
Cranes
Outriggers
Tool Circuits
Hi-Rail systems
Test and inspect assembled product(s) to discover flaws.
Inspect units requiring service to determine cause and solution.
Provide detailed schematics of custom run systems.
Bills of Material provided for custom systems.
Support engineering in the creation of on the floor schematics.
Testing Hydraulic Systems to ensure proper function, pressure regulation, and absence of exterior leakage.
Recognizing and addressing any incorrect function of the Hydraulic components and system.
Maintaining tools and equipment through preventative maintenance activities.
Completing appropriate assembly/test reports.
Recommending and implementing value added changes to processes.
Cross-training on other functions within the team.
Maintaining a clean and safe work enviroment.
Performing other essential and related peripheral duties as assigned by supervisor.
 

Job Requirements:
Minimum 2 years proven experience.
Education in Fluid Power Technician/Vocational School, and/or Hydraulic Specialist/Technologist.
General knowledge of hydraulic components, including mounting and operation.
Knowledge/Ability to determine proper size FiZngs, Adaptors, Hose and Hose ends.
High mechanical aptitude to use and operate hand and air tools, overhead crane.
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics.
Demonstrated good organizational and interpersonal skills.
Good communication skills with regards to verbal, written and basic personal computer skills.
Able to lift and move 50 on a regular basis.
knowledge of 12-volt electrical systems.
Knowledge of hydraulic systems.
Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protec/ve clothing (face-shield, gloves etc).
Deftness and attention to detail.
Proficient in English.
