Job Highlights

Push state-of-the-art technology boundaries forward in alignment with customer needs and business strategy.
Maintain strong hydraulic OEM relationship management for approvals
Serve as the technical product owner of hydraulic additive packages
Technical project leader to develop new and improved additive packages for existing or new industrial applications
Provide product training and technical support to the global sales and technical service organization
Prepare marketing material for global use
Manage Technical Data Sheets (TDS), specifications, and regulatory tasks
Develop improved production processes and provide manufacturing support on a lab scale, improve quality, and qualify new raw materials for the additive packages
Represent Lanxess Lubricant Additive Business in international working groups and conferences

Requirements

  • Strong technical background and hands-on experience in lubricant additives, particularly in the hydraulic additive package formulation
  • Senior laboratory technician with job experience over 10 years, or chemist or similar educational background with Bachelor/Master/PhD with job experience over 5 years
  • Knowing test methods related to the lubricant industry
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of leading technical projects
  • Effective communication and representation skills for international collaboration
  • Ability to provide technical training and support to diverse teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills for handling customer complaints and QM investigations
  • Experience in process optimization and improvement in a production environment
  • Creativity and solution orientation consider approaches to old problems
  • Entrepreneurial skills, self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what to do, take action quickly to accomplish goals
  • Being a team player and having cultural awareness is expected
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
