Maintenance Technician

Who are we looking for?

Provide maintenance support for Morristown production operation and facilities.

What will you be doing?

General upkeep and minor repair of production and facilities equipment.
Repair broken/leaking plumbing as needed.
Perform routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and corrective action maintenance.
Diagnose and repair broken/damaged assets as needed.
Maintain a record of performed maintenance tasks.
Keep hand tools, power tools, work area, and supplies organized and clean.
Follow safety precautions and adhere to the required work schedule.
Additional responsibilities as directed by supervisor.

Who are You?

• Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Able to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic prints and diagrams.
• Basic understanding of PLC ladder logic and how it controls machine operation.
• Some experience in PLCs, and basic electric and electronic troubleshooting. At least one year of experience in the area of industrial utilities.
• Good working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; demonstrated math skills; ability to work various hours, including overtime; ability to work with minimal supervision
