Responsible for overseeing the sales and procurement of pre-owned cranes within a designated region, primarily focusing on the Americas. Drive the development of the pre-owned crane market to generate leads that contribute to revenue growth and other assigned objectives. Develop and execute sales strategies utilizing various tools such as software valuations, a dedicated used crane website, the "Pipedrive" CRM system, and the crane order board. Maintain a professional and reputable image for the company within the assigned territory. Act as the primary contact for all pre-owned crane sales within the distribution network, house accounts, and end-user customers. Continuously monitor and enhance sales processes and techniques to optimize team performance. Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment of strategies. Regularly provide reports on pre-owned sales metrics and accomplishments. Advocate for our Used Cranes and Encore program. Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report pre-owned crane sales and inventory forecasts, ensuring alignment with business plan goals and objectives.
  • Utilize data analytics to inform decisions regarding sales strategies, pricing, and product positioning for pre-owned crane sales and acquisitions.
  • Manage and refine the design of the pre-owned crane system, including the used website, pipedrive CRM, crane order board, and other relevant platforms.
  • Cultivate strong relationships internally with country organizations and the Global Used team in the EU and emerging markets, as well as externally with distributors, customers, and suppliers.
  • Provide guidance, support, and motivation to sales teams, encouraging exploration of new markets and opportunities.

Job Requirements/Working Conditions:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales/Marketing with three to five years of experience, or seven to nine years of experience in Crane Sales/Service or a related field instead of education.
  • Experience in national and international sales of construction equipment.
  • Coordinate travel plans with country organizations, distributors, and suppliers to discuss sales forecasts and acquisition/inventory objectives.
  • Regularly visit key customers to keep them informed of company plans and achievements.
  • Support the sales efforts of country organizations' teams in selling company products.
  • Participate in regional exhibitions, auctions, and events to benefit the company and engage with the local distributor and customer base.
  • Maintain open lines of communication to facilitate the flow of company information to the distribution channel.
  • Travel requirement of 80%.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred, with a positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and an empathetic personality.
