JCB LANDS BIG DEAL AS A-PLANT ORDERS 1,200 MACHINES

JCB Secures £35 Million Order from A-Plant for 1,200 Machines
JCB has announced one of its largest contracts of the year—a £35 million order from A-Plant, the UK’s largest equipment rental company. This follows last year’s £50 million deal for 1,500 machines, highlighting a long-standing partnership now exceeding 11,000 JCB machines purchased over 25 years.

Deal Highlights:
1,200 machines ordered, including:

JS130 tracked excavators (built in Uttoxeter)

Mini excavators, Loadall telehandlers, and rough terrain forklifts (from JCB’s Rocester and Cheadle plants)

JCB site dumpers

All units will be supplied by Greenshields JCB, an official dealer.

Power Products Milestone:
For the first time, A-Plant has ordered a range of JCB generators developed by the former Broadcrown business (now JCB Power Products).

Almost 40 generator sets featuring JCB LiveLink for Power have been purchased—enough to power two hospitals or 1,000 homes.

Supports multiple JCB factories in Staffordshire

Reinforces A-Plant’s investment in cutting-edge, reliable, and eco-friendly equipment
