The German Design Council awards the producers and designers of innovative products and projects with the German Design Award each year. Its goal: to discover and present unique international design trends. The ActiveCockpit software from Bosch Rexroth with its clear and intuitive interface was awarded the "Special Mention" in the human-machine interface category for its excellent product design. The ActiveCockpit interactive communication platform records, processes and visualizes manufacturing data in real time and displays it on a touchscreen or tablet.

The internationally staffed expert jury of the German Design Award 2017 awarded the ActiveCockpit interactive communication platform with the "Special Mention" for outstanding design quality.
