CATERPILLAR ACQUIRES WEIR OIL & GAS, LAUNCHES SPM OIL & GAS

 According to the recent news release from Caterpillar, it has acquired the oil & gas division of Scotland-based global engineering business company Weir Group PLC and launches SPM Oil & Gas headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. The SPM Oil & Gas will produce consumable parts, pumps, and pressure control products. Over 2000 employees and 40+ global service centers are included in this transaction.
