Crane Operator

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

Operates a hydraulic telescoping boom-type crane to hoist and move materials, raise and lower heavy weights, and perform other related operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

May oil, grease, or otherwise service and make necessary adjustments to equipment as needed
Whatever enhances the operations of the company.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to the supervisor and/or Human Resources.
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Less than a High School Diploma

WORKING CONDITIONS

Outdoors exposed to changing weather conditions (for instance, rain, sun, snow, wind, etc.)

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY LEVEL

Heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily productive/technical nature.

MANUAL DEXTERITY

Manual dexterity is sufficient to reach/handle items work with the fingers and perceive attributes of objects and materials.
