Eaton starts construction of a new, sustainable, advanced manufacturing and engineering center in Dubai, UAE, in collaboration with Jafza

Eaton, the smart power management company, has kicked off the construction of a new, eco-friendly, state-of-the-art manufacturing and engineering center in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) in Dubai, UAE. This major investment is in line with the Dubai government's plan to boost sustainable industrial growth and solidify the city’s status as a global leader in innovation and high-tech manufacturing. The facility aims for LEED Gold certification, showcasing its energy-efficient design and commitment to renewable energy technologies. It will incorporate Industry 4.0 advancements, such as AI and cutting-edge robotics, to manufacture electrical and electronic components for essential sectors like data centers and utilities throughout the EMEA region. Additionally, the project will feature a strategic engineering center dedicated to research and development as well as training, and it’s expected to generate over 700 new jobs in skilled positions.
