Hawe LHK Load-Holding Valve

Load-holding valves are a type of pressure control valve designed to prevent loads on cylinders or motors from dropping in an uncontrolled manner. They are pre-loaded with a pressure setting higher than the maximum possible load. A hydraulic piston regulates the opening of the valve to control the lowering velocity as required.

The load-holding valve type LHK is particularly suitable for applications that are not highly prone to oscillations.

Shock valves and shuttle valves can be fitted with or without restrictor check valves, for example, to delay the release of hydraulic brakes.
