The Role:

Our Heavy Plant Operator / Labourers drive and maintain a vast range of Council plant which can include heavy plant like excavators, backhoes, rollers and loaders as well as job trucks and slashers and undertake labouring tasks and manual handling activities as needed. We are seeking an experienced excavator driver to join our active Works crew. Sustenance of a healthy working environment and proper manual handling practices is an essential prerequisite of this role.

Our Heavy Plant Operators / Labourers will need to be stationed in many diverse locations around the Shire, such as works programs that consist of working and camping in remote areas for definite lengths of time.
