Kalmar purchases the electric terminal tractor product line from Lonestar Specialty Vehicles in the United States.

Kalmar, a subsidiary of Cargotec, has entered into an agreement to acquire the product rights for the electric terminal tractor product line from Lonestar Specialty Vehicles (LSV) based in the United States. As part of this arrangement, LSV will transfer intangible assets to Kalmar and serve as Kalmar's contract manufacturing partner for the acquired electric terminal tractor product range. The completion of this transaction is scheduled for September 1, 2023.

          The recently acquired electric terminal tractor product line will seamlessly integrate into Kalmar's terminal tractor portfolio, bearing the Kalmar TX brand name. Kalmar remains dedicated to further enhancing its electric terminal tractor range and is presently is the process of developing the third generation of electric terminal tractors for the global market. The Kalmar TX product line will be available in the Americas region. It's worth noting that this transaction is not expected to have a significant impact on Kalmar's sales in 2023.
