Norway stands out as a frontrunner in Europe's transition to renewable energy. The vast port in the capital has long relied on an electrically powered ship for water cleaning. During its winter maintenance check, the crane service provider Nordic Crane Kynningsrud AS utilized a Liebherr LTM 1230-5.1 mobile crane to hoist the cleaning vessel "Pelikan II" out of the water. Additionally, Oslo is a hub for electrically powered Liebherr cranes, with nine LTC 1050-3.1E compact cranes already operational in the city.
