The Motion Control Industry (MCI) Awards recognize the achievements of motion control companies and individuals who go the extra mile. The second MCI Awards ceremony was held on 9 May 2017 at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham. The evening was produced and managed by Touchwave Media in association with BFPA, BFPDA, BCAS, and GAMBICA, bringing together the motion control industry to celebrate business and professional excellence.

Bosch Rexroth Limited won the Project of the Year award for its Offshore Wind Farm Piling Project.

Bosch Rexroth Limited also received the Contribution to Skills & Training Award for its Bosch Rexroth Challenge, a tailored course developed for the JCB Academy. The program has helped around 350 sixth-form students enhance their skills in hydraulic engineering, focusing on control systems, hydraulics, and sensor technology.
