Parker Bladder Accumulator - Low Pressure (EBV Series)

Parker EBV Series Bladder Accumulators

The Parker EBV Series is a low-pressure range of bladder accumulators designed for the Energy, Process & Marine markets. Available in carbon steel (20 to 80 bar) and stainless steel (20 to 40 bar).

The Parker ACDE gas-loaded accumulator is an essential component for the optimum operation of a hydraulic circuit.

Benefits
Quality & Safety: Rigorous product testing and continuous product development help to ensure our products operate at optimum efficiency and perform in the most demanding environments. Parker accumulator accessories such as Safety Blocks, Burst Discs, and Permanent Charging Sets aid the safe installation and operation of accumulators in any hydraulic system.

Reliability: Our bladder accumulators are built to last with optimum performance and minimal maintenance required.

Flexibility: Parker Olaer accumulators are suitable for use in more than 35 countries (all EBV accumulators are CE marked), making them boundary friendly. We meet an extensive range of international and industry approvals and offer a large range of materials and fittings.

Support: We offer a wealth of product knowledge and experience, providing first-class technical support and customer service. We have developed sophisticated simulation software for hydraulic accumulators, allowing for temperature and flow characteristics, intuitive Windows format, and ease of use.

Function
Sudden flow changes in the pipes (starting/stopping a pump, opening/closing a valve) cause pressure waves that propagate in pipes, causing leaks, maladjustments of regulation/measurement devices, deterioration of pumps and systems. When correctly sized, EBV bladder accumulators absorb these oscillations, ensuring safe operation within acceptable pressure ranges.

The accumulator enables:
Energy Storage
Saves energy without loss and redistributes it when required, reducing installed power.

Pulsation Dampening
Absorbs pressure spikes from pumps or other components, controlling pressure and flow rates and preventing system damage.

Thermal Expansion
Absorbs fluid volume variations induced by temperature changes in a closed hydraulic circuit, maintaining rated pressure.

Energy Backup
Provides sufficient energy to complete an operation or full hydraulic cycle in case of main energy source failure.

Surge Control
Absorbs pressure surges possibly caused by pump start/stop or valve closing.

The Parker EBV series meets regulations, certificates, and approvals including PED 97/23/EC, ATEX, ASME VIII div 1, SELO, CUTR, DNV, Bureau Veritas Marine, ABS, Germanischer Lloyd's.

The EBV series is fitted with an O-Ring seal fluid port and 7/8" UNF Gas Connection as standard.

A small selection of part numbers for this series is available. For more information, please download the EBV brochure or contact your local Parker sales office.

Parker offers a full range of accumulator accessories and maintenance equipment including safety blocks, charging sets, brackets & clamps, adaptors, and seals.

Parker has developed very sophisticated simulation software to optimize sizing recommendations for hydraulic accumulators.

Important Note: Never precharge the accumulator at a pressure exceeding 20 bar.
