Parker PSD Servo Drives With Ethernet IP and EtherCAT

Parker Hannifin has enhanced its PSD standalone and multi-axis servo drive offering with a new communications interface option. The complete drive family now supports EtherNet IP communications as well as EtherCAT and Profinet, making it compatible with a wide range of controllers and PLCs. The Parker PSD multi-axis servo driver range features an ultra-compact design tailored to meet global needs, available in various power ratings and form factors.

The PSD1 family includes:

PSD1-S: A standalone drive that connects directly to the main supply.

PSD1-M: A multi-axis servo system where each module can supply up to three servo motors. The base configuration uses a common DC bus supply with multiple PSD1-M modules connected via DC bus bars. Modules come in one, two, or three axis versions, offering high flexibility. The PSD1-M system suits centralized automation systems, like packaging machines, where many drives are required, providing significant advantages.
