Pow’R-LOCK wins Australian National Engineering Award

Enerpac’s self-contained Pow’R-LOCK™ hydraulic jacking system, rated for heavy lifts up to 200 tons (181 metric tons), has received national recognition in the transport category of the Process and Control Engineering (PACE) Zenith Awards for 2016.

An Award that Recognizes Innovation and Safety
The PACE Zenith Awards honor engineering companies that deliver advanced technologies and products designed to enhance safety, efficiency, productivity, and performance.

“It was rewarding to be recognized for this innovative solution that lifts massive vehicles in the mining and civil engineering industries,” said Mr. Denis Matulin, Enerpac Regional Manager, Australia and New Zealand.
“Enerpac’s goal is 'zero harm' and products like the Pow’R-LOCK that reduce risk by providing autonomous locking of the load help us achieve and maintain this goal,” Matulin added.

Designed to Provide Safe and Secure Lifting
The Pow’R-LOCK portable lifting system features full-time locking capability, making it ideal for lifting heavy off-highway machinery, including haul trucks, mining vehicles, civil engineering machinery, and other large implements. This innovative locking mechanism does not rely on the operator to secure the load, helping to keep them out from under the vehicle and in a safer working position.
