Aerospace Hydraulic Systems Engineer

The Position:

A highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer is needed to work on hydraulic systems for next-generation aircraft. As a Systems Engineer, you will work on a range of tasks including the creation of system architecture; requirements management; and integration, verification, and validation planning.

Role:

Develop and document verifiable requirements into a total systems solution
Communicate design requirements to the other members of the internal and external design/project teams
Compile concise reports that document the design decisions and analysis results
Drive the identification, definition, and closure of system subsystems-level Requirements Verification and Validation
Support system- and subsystem-level integration and test, including any anomaly investigations
Contribute as a technical member of a team of creative, independent individuals

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems or Software Engineering or another related field with a minimum of three (3) years of progressive Systems Engineer experience.
Experience with requirements management; and control system design and verification.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment is preferred.
On-site work in Long Beach, California required
Local candidates preferred
Experience with aircraft development programs preferred
