Bosch Rexroth Gerotor Pump – PGZ Series

The PGZ Series from Bosch Rexroth features constant displacement gerotor pumps designed for low-pressure applications. The pump operates by having the shaft drive the inner rotor, which in turn drives the outer rotor. As the rotors mesh and rotate, tooth clearances in the suction area draw in hydraulic fluid. On the opposite side, the unique rotor profiles create a radial gap, effectively separating the suction and pressure zones. In the pressure zone, the chambers reduce in volume, displacing the hydraulic fluid into the pressure port.
