Danfoss PC-PRO propel software boosts off-highway efficiency

Danfoss Power Solutions has introduced its PC-PRO propel program, which is a next-generation software solution created to enhance the performance, efficiency, and control for hydrostatic drives utilized in off-highway equipment. The software offers precise control of torque and speed via a single-path structure and includes advanced features, such as automatic-inch functions, smart calibration routines, and an entire range of ECO modes. This ECO mode reduces engine speed at higher speeds while still delivering the performance, thereby reducing the cost of fuel, operating costs, and the amount of noise. PC-PRO improves the responsiveness of machines through intelligent work-function integration. It can also be used with multiple control types, which makes it suitable for machines such as dumpers, loaders, harvesters, and forestry equipment. In the end, the product represents the shift towards more intelligent hydraulics that are software-driven, allowing OEMs to ensure more consistency, speedier installation, and better comfort for the operator.
