Duties and Responsibilities

  • General and preventive maintenance, repairs, and servicing
  • Prepare, paint, or clean interior and exterior surfaces of ground equipment
  • Perform minor manufacturing tasks, e.g., construct baggage carts, aircraft tow bars, etc
  • Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain electrical components and equipment according to relevant codes, the preventive maintenance program, and departmental procedures
  • Troubleshoot, install, and repair hydraulic hoses, piping, and related equipment
  • Participate in every vehicle maintenance need for all company vehicles at the respective base
  • Read and understand equipment instruction manuals and work orders to carry out maintenance and servicing required
