Heavy Equipment Operator - Excavator, Dozer, Loader

MasTec Civil is now accepting applications for Heavy Equipment Operators to work with our crew!

A MasTec Civil Equipment Operator is a non-FSLA exempt, journeyman craft position that performs on heavy construction projects any combination of the duties described more fully below. An Operator generally performs a wide range of tasks, switching from one task to another as the workflow demands.

To fulfill this work satisfactorily, a person has to be able to operate large construction machinery typical in the heavy highway business such as but not limited to bulldozers and loaders, excavators, backhoes and be physically able to carry out these tasks in accordance with the Safety Sensitive Position guidelines as applied to the recognized work area. The following requirements are typical of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to drive all or a particular item of equipment in context.
