HITACHI Construction Machinery’s New Global Fleet Management System

Hitachi Construction Machinery made a significant impact at MINExpo 2024 by introducing pioneering solutions aimed at achieving Zero Emissions, Zero Downtime, and Zero Entry Mines. Among the standout innovations was the EH4000AC-5 rigid dump truck, which sets new benchmarks in the mining industry. Additionally, the EX-7 series excavators were highlighted for their blend of advanced innovation and proven design. Hitachi also announced a strategic partnership with Envirosuite Ltd. to deliver intelligent insights for responsible mining operations.
The EH4000AC-5 rigid dump truck, a next-generation machine, redefines productivity on mine sites with an unparalleled payload capacity of 242 tonnes (266 tons) and a top speed of 65 km/h (40 mph), significantly enhancing material handling efficiency. This achievement is made possible by integrating metal fabrication technologies from hydraulic excavators into the truck’s frame and body, ensuring robustness and performance.
Durability is further ensured with a reinforced suspension system that offers smooth and stable operation. Operators can choose from three driving modes—High Power, Power, or Eco—to optimize performance based on site conditions. Eco Mode is designed to reduce fuel consumption, while High Power Mode maximizes driving efficiency, ultimately lowering the cost per ton
These innovations underscore Hitachi’s commitment to driving a sustainable future in mobile hydraulics, industrial hydraulics, and mining, combining advanced technology with strategic partnerships to meet the industry's evolving needs.
