Hose Assembler (2nd & 3rd Shift)

Duties:

• Verify the production schedule to find the scheduled finished hose and table assignment.
• Find the correct raw materials needed for the product in the assigned finish table by referring to the Batch Card.
• Verify the Automatic Counter to ensure the correct setting of particular hose lengths.
• Step on the pedal on the cutter machine to engage the hose to be operated.
• Install correct fittings on expander machines, put the hose and fittings together, push the foot pedal of the expander machine, remove the hose, and repeat the procedure.
• (a) Install male end of hose into the winding machine, coil, affix label, tie hose coil with wire ties or straps, visually inspect, assemble carton, affix label on side of carton, and place hose coil in carton and/or on belt conveyor.
• (b) Continue the procedure until the carton is filled with the specified amounts of hose. Place the carton on the belt conveyor
