Description

Carter Machinery Company, an official Caterpillar dealer to Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington D.C. is looking for a Hydraulic Cylinder Technician in Chesapeake, Virginia.  This Hydraulic Cylinder Technician was given the training to disassemble, inspect, repair/replace, reassemble, and test hydraulic cylinders to factory standards.  This is an entry-level position with good aptitude but without previous experience. Responsibilities involve the use of troubleshooting skills and the capability to properly diagnose and repair equipment. Previous experience troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment failure preferred but not necessary. High school diploma or GED required.
