Komatsu and Codelco agreement for new Mining Tunnel Boring Machine trial

 The Komatsu subsidiary Komatsu Cummins Chile Ltda. and Chile-based major state-owned company Codelco has recently agreed to collaborate for the trial of a new mining Tunnel Boring Machine introduced by Komatsu, which is suitable for tunnel excavation of underground hard rock. This mining TBM from Komatsu integrates new technology to make it adaptable and flexible for hard rock tunnel excavation.
