New Hydraulic Power Packs for Portable Machine Tools

Enerpac has recently introduced new hydraulic power packs designed specifically for portable machine tools, such as flange-facing machines, clamshell cutters, and hot-tapping machines. These new power packs, part of the PP-Series, are available in both electric and diesel-powered models, catering to different operational needs and environments.

The electric models include 11 kW and 15 kW options with multiple voltage choices, making them suitable for various global applications. They come with pendant options for specific machine tool control and safety features like emergency stop buttons on both the power pack and the control pendant. These units also have optional carts for easy positioning and storage within workshop environments.

For remote locations, the diesel-powered models, including the 19 kW and 44 kW units, are ideal. These are equipped with features like a 50-litre diesel tank, providing up to 12 hours of runtime at maximum torque, and a spark arrester for safe operation in explosive environments. Additionally, the diesel units require a separate hydraulic control panel and specific hose kits for operation, with the ability to connect multiple hydraulic motors simultaneously.

These new power packs are not only compatible with Enerpac's portable machine tools but also with tools from other brands, enhancing their versatility and utility across various industrial applications.
