Specific Responsibilities:

  • On-site manufacturing equipment predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance.
  • Perform maintenance on utility systems to ensure a constant supply of heat, electrical power, gas, or air to support manufacturing operations.
  • Equipment moves/installations:  Capacity to assist equipment moves, installations, and changes when necessary.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics:  Capacity to install air supply, troubleshoot valves, cylinders, and general equipment.
  • Electrical knowledge: Can operate primary service to equipment, troubleshoot control circuits, and effectively use a meter.  PLC programming is a plus.
  • Reads and adheres to manuals, blueprints, electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic prints, and other written directions.
  • Operates equipment, such as power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools.
  • Adheres to all policies, procedures, and work instructions for quality and product standards.
  • Adhere to all safety processes and regulations.  Report unsafe conditions, near misses, and/or accidents immediately to the supervisor/manager.
  • Works with other maintenance personnel to establish the most efficient method of procedure for necessary work.
  • Cross-train on different equipment, interpersonal skills, and technology as necessary and/or instructed by the Supervisor or Manager within the department.
  • Performs other duties as directed.
