Manitowoc Introduces A Pair Of Fresh Potain Luffing Jib Cranes

Manitowoc unveils the MR 309 and MR 329, the latest additions to its luffing jib crane lineup. These models are available in 16 t or 25 t maximum capacity variations. Both cranes feature a 60 m jib and offer a 3.4 t capacity at the tip. However, they differ in load curves and heights under pivot due to their unique 2 m and 2.45 m pivot and mast configurations. These new models address customer feedback by offering simpler and faster erection processes, increased height under pivot, enhanced load charts, and a reduced out-of-service radius (ranging from a minimum of 9.5 m up to 12 m). Additionally, they are equipped with the latest Potain Crane Control System (CCS) for swift setup and precise control. Furthermore, they feature the new Potain CONNECT telematics system, which ensures optimized fleet management and maximized uptime.
