Montanhydraulik GmbH has successfully achieved its initial certification under ISO 50001:2018, the international standard for Energy Management Systems (EnMS).

• Scope: By implementing a well-structured EnMS, Montanhydraulik establishes a base for continual improvements in the efficiency of energy and aims to lower the cost of energy, consumption of resources, as well as their carbon footprint.

• Effect: The company's annual energy use is significant (over 14,000 GWh). Projects for efficiency that have been completed and are planned are already generating an estimated savings potential of 1.5 GWH in comparison to the 2023 baseline.
