Continental opens new hydraulic plant located in Aguascalientes, Mexico

The group segment of Continental ContiTech has celebrated its grand opening for the new hydraulics manufacturing facility located in Aguascalientes, Mexico, on the 3rd of November 2025.

  • The investment. This project is an investment of $90 90million from Continental.

  • Manufacturing: Its 900,000 sq ft facility is designed to produce the highest-quality hydraulic hoses for a variety of mobile and industrial applications, including the agriculture, construction, mining, energy, and construction sectors.

  • Strategies: The plant aligns with ContiTech's " in the region to the region" strategy, which will expand its manufacturing capabilities and enhance regional supply chains throughout the Americas. The plant will be in collaboration with the current Norfolk, Nebraska, plant.

  • The impact: The facility reinforces regional capabilities for production and is anticipated to generate around 200 new jobs in its first phase.

The ceremony was attended by dignitaries from the local area and officials, including Aguascalientes governor Maria Teresa Jimenez Esquivel, together with Continental and ContiTech leaders.
