New Doosan DX225LL-5 Log Loader Built Strong for Forestry and Logging Industry Challenges

Doosan DX225LL-5 log loaders are equipped with Doosan DL06P Tier 4-compliant diesel engines and powerful hydraulics to deliver top performance across various forestry applications. Operators benefit from the machine’s Electronic Power Optimizing Systems (EPOS), which offers four work modes to optimize jobsite efficiency and fuel consumption. An auto-shutdown system helps save fuel and reduce operating costs by turning off the engine after a preset idle time.

Built for durability, the DX225LL-5 features heavy-duty thick steel doors and panels to protect components and maximize uptime. Its fully guarded, heavy-duty upper structure is designed for forestry tasks such as log loading, timber harvesting, road construction, mill operations, and fire control. Enhanced guards protect the heel, arm, and boom cylinders. The log loader’s high, wide undercarriage improves ground clearance over stumps, with heavy-duty track links, double grouser shoes, rock guards, and full-length track guiding guards. Heavy-duty top rollers include clean-out brackets to ease maintenance.

The loader’s durable boom, arm, and live heel can be paired with a Doosan log grapple that rotates 360 degrees, enabling precise log placement for truck loading. The elevated cab, featuring a 4-foot riser, provides excellent visibility to the work area, boosting operator productivity. The cab guard minimizes damage, while the hydraulic tilting cab improves transportation. Inside, operators enjoy comfort with an air suspension seat, simple controls, air conditioning with adjustable airflow, and enhanced foot space.

Optional LED front and rear work lights ensure excellent visibility before sunrise and after sunset. A standard rearview camera and optional sideview camera further enhance operator awareness. A 7-inch color LCD screen displays critical machine data such as engine RPM, fuel consumption, battery voltage, hydraulic pump pressures, and live camera feeds, making monitoring easy and efficient.
