Product Engineer (Mechanical/ Hydraulics/ Engine/ Cooling)

Caterpillar Inc. is looking for Product Engineer (Mechanical/ Hydraulics/ Engine/ Cooling) in its plant at 7300 Lone Tree Road, Victoria, TX 77901.

Offer change leadership, plant product support, and direct improvement projects in Quality, Velocity, and Cost. Work with Caterpillar groups at multiple levels within and external to the plant and with external vendors. Also work on and around machines. Work with product design, manufacturing, and quality engineers to develop and execute product changes for hydraulics within the facility and execute calibration test plans. Troubleshoot hydraulic systems on machines at different levels of assembly. Climb onto the machines while communicating with mechanics, technicians, and operators to conduct tests and/or gather data. Offer analysis to determine root cause and/or improvements, and project lead to create and implement solutions.
