Test And Development Engineer / Senior Engineer (Mwil-Cr4hr7)

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Test and Development Engineer or Senior Engineer to join our Excavator Engineering team, which oversees Tracked Excavators.           Reporting to the Test and Development Manager, the successful candidate will join a highly focused and passionate team working on exciting new programs to maintain and expand JCB’s Tracked Excavators range. Key responsibilities include:

• Taking ownership and responsibility for completing testing and development activities on new product designs, systems, and components, from project inception through to Engineering sign-off and completion.
• Driving and operating machines, including benchmarking, and collaborating with Test Drivers and Group Assessors.
• Diagnosing technical issues with machines and working with various teams to resolve problems.
• Understanding the applications of Tracked Excavators and the requirements of customers.
• Analyzing problems and proposing design solutions.
• Analyzing, reporting, and presenting test results.
