Anchor handling cranes with manipulator (AHTS)

Movable Cranes on the cargo rails make deck operations more efficient and safe. Fitted with manipulators they enable operations such as shackling of wires and chains to be carried out with less manual work. They increase the safety and efficiency on board because the deck crew have crane assistance during heavy and potential dangerous operations on deck.  Cranes of this type are produced in sizes spanning the range from 50 – 100 tonne metres.
