Description

Taiga is rapidly expanding the manufacturing of off-road electric vehicles and is currently seeking skilled production team members to support this growth. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a keen eye for detail. As a member of the assembly team, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic subassemblies as well as final assemblies to build high-quality off-road electric vehicles. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate the ability to follow processes and procedures with precision, accuracy, and repeatability. These processes include working with hand tools, automation, and test equipment. You must also be able to recognize abnormal conditions, troubleshoot issues, and escalate them appropriately to ensure that safety, quality, and efficiency remain our top priorities. Shift work may be required if and when operations expand to multiple-shift production. 

Responsibilities

  • Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, identifying areas for improvement in risk management.  
  • Read and understand work instructions and processes to ensure work is performed safely and reliably and meets quality standards. 
  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic assemblies. 
  • Identify anomalies and support root cause analysis and countermeasure implementation. 
  • Follow appropriate escalation procedures for safety, quality, and productivity issues. 
  • Identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with the continuous improvement team to implement innovative solutions. 
  • Maintain a clean workstation following company 5S guidelines 

Requirements

  • Professional experience as an assembler or in a similar role. 
  • Technical knowledge with the ability to read and follow standard work instructions. 
  • Proficiency in the use of tools (e.g., electric ratchets) and machines (e.g., presses, lifts). 
  • Ability to identify and solve practical problems independently. 
  • Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and quality control practices. 
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written. 
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and good physical condition.
