BBA Pumps introduces a new concept of pumps

Drawing on its experience in the development of mobile systems for pumping clean and quiet, the manufacturer BBA pumps has launched a new concept of pumps for mining and quarry applications in the 100-400 kW power range. Following the changes in regulations on pollutant emissions, the manufacturer has provided its vehicles more environmentally friendly engines, with a view to comply with the standards Internship V in 2019. But BBA pumps also worked on flexibility of use: by opting for a modular set, the brand wants to mount quickly and easily all the elements of the pump to the desired location. Specifically, the operations manager indicates the desired service from which BBA Pumps advise him the most suitable pump model. Then, depending on the expected energy consumption, an "engine stall" module can be added. The latter consists of a diesel engine block including a post-processing system, a fuel tank and / or another of AdBlue, and finally a control panel. Then the modules are placed on a predetermined sub-frame by means of a cardan shaft. The modular unit is now complete and ready for operation. Note: Beyond clean engines, BBA Pumps has also equipped its tanks with a sealed bottom fully contained, while the production process complies with the ISO 14001 environmental management
