Fitter

For our manufacturing department in Heijningen, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Fitter. You will work at Allseas Fabrication BV where manufacturing, testing, and coating activities take place to better execute Allseas projects.

As a Fitter you are responsible for carrying out all offshore construction and fitting activities in Heijningen. In daily practice, you assemble offshore piping and construction sheet metal on the basis of fitting drawings and you release these for acceptance. You are aware of various manufacturing tools and techniques and you are able to read technical drawings and work packages.

Your role
Carrying out all fitness activities;

Planning all fit activities related to a project, in consultation with the foreman;

Identify problems and solve them independently;

Reading and interpreting working drawings;

Detecting errors in equipment or materials and informing the supervisor.

We expect from you
At least an LTS education or equivalent education level with basic knowledge of carbon steel;

Knowledge of manufacturing techniques, tools, and principles used in the production of equipment according to engineering diagrams, blueprints, drawings, and models;

Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position, preferably in the offshore/steel industry;

Good knowledge of English or Dutch.
