Gantry Crane Operator (Mi-Jack)

DUTIES:

• Facility maintenance and housekeeping duties in general
• Safe operation of a rubber-tired Mi-Jack gantry crane for lifting, transferring, and positioning precast concrete products.
• Transporting loads in the yard and facility on forklifts
• Positioning and stripping work areas with the proper cleaning up and upkeep of equipment and tools
• Safety checks of the cranes and forklifts before and after each shift to ensure safety and sound working order
• Helped load and unload trucks, with proper care and placement of materials
• Work with other team members to ensure production and operational requirements are satisfied
• General housekeeping and maintenance of the facility to ensure a clean and safe working environment
• Performs general manual labor work such as lifting and relocating materials, assembly and setup of molds and forms
• Depends on instruction and established guidelines to carry out the duties of the job
