Duties
Work involves, but is not limited to the following: Installation, testing, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul and preventative maintenance of commercial and industrial sized air handler units, condensing units, heat pumps, 900 ton centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, exhaust systems, humidification systems, mini-split systems, window air conditions, circulating pumps, VAV boxes, thermostats, control wiring, valves, compressors, refrigerant and steam piping and other systems and components common to the HVACR trade. Room temperature, relative humidity levels, and equipment information are monitored by Maintenance Mechanics using energy management systems and rectified accordingly. Position involves reclaiming refrigerant and abiding by EPA regulations related to refrigerant gases.
