Flowtech Fluidpower Acquires Hydraulics Specialist

 Flowtech Fluidpower has acquired a hydraulics specialist in Yorkshire for up to £1.1m but the Lancashire-based business warned that its full-year results are likely to be marginally below expectations.The AIM-listed company has bought Hebden Bridge-based Triple Six, a designer and distributor of several ranges of hydraulic cylinders and semi rotary actuators to sectors including civil engineering, railways, nuclear and marine.Flowtwch Fluidpower said that Triple Six would trade as part of its Power Motion Control (PMC) division under the leadership of its managing director Steve Rushworth. Rushworth established Triple Six in 2008.Sean Fennon, chief executive of Flowtech Fluidpower, said: "The acquisition of Triple Six continues the development of our PMC division and further enhances our offer to the power and motion control market. The acquisition again widens the customer sectors we serve.
