Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers

Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers

Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers

Gasketed plate heat exchangers offer an ideal solution for handling large volumes and high cooling requirements. Consisting of a stack of heat transfer plates and gaskets, they are securely clamped within a frame using bolts. This design facilitates easy disassembly for maintenance and cleaning purposes. Moreover, the flexibility of adding more plates later allows for scalability to accommodate higher capacities. In applications involving seawater, titanium heat transfer plates can be supplied to withstand corrosion. Various stamp designs are available to handle heavily contaminated or highly viscous fluids, as well as situations where there's only a minimal temperature difference between the hot and cold mediums.
For scenarios requiring strict isolation between different media, safety heat exchangers with double-walled plates are utilized. The structure of gasketed plate heat exchangers comprises embossed plates with apertures arranged in sets. These plates are positioned at a 180° angle to each other, creating flow gaps. Gaskets, either mechanically secured or glued onto each plate, ensure secure sealing of the flow gaps from external elements and the second medium involved in the heat exchange process. Mounted within a frame, the plate assembly is compressed using tightening bolts between fixed and movable plates. Our product range encompasses single and multiple-pass plate heat exchangers with heat exchange surfaces of up to 2,000 m².
