HMV-02 D

Linde Hydraulics has developed a new axial piston motor designed to surpass the maximum speeds achievable with conventional swash plate designs. The compact design of this motor, known as HMV-02 D, allows for a significantly larger displacement volume, enabling broader transmission speed ranges comparable to those typically attained with modular transmissions. Remarkably, the HMV-02 D is approximately 30% lighter than a motor combined with a transfer gearbox and boasts a smaller footprint.
The enhanced power density of this motor stems from an innovative configuration featuring two in-line swash plate rotating groups arranged in a "face-to-face" manner. This arrangement facilitates the adjustment of displacement volume for both motors with just a single control. The compensation of inner lateral forces eliminates the need for four bearings, requiring only one drive shaft and two bearings for the two rotating groups.
