Hydraulic Technician

General Description: Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, e.g., frac units, nitrogen units and blenders, etc.

Duties:

• Inspect mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to confirm correct functioning and conformity with manufacturer's specifications.

• Replace damaged or worn-out parts.

• Check machinery during start-up to verify correct pressures, fan speed, and leaks.

• Minor oilfield equipment diagnostics.

• Disassemble and reassemble hydraulic equipment with hoists and hand tools.

• Clean, lubricate, and do other regular maintenance tasks on equipment and vehicles.

• Visual inspection of all hydraulic systems on equipment.

• Read and interpret operating manuals on oilfield equipment.

• Performs other related duties as required
