PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To assemble, install and prepare vehicle and/or chipper hydraulic components and hose lines to Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Finish departments' required specifications.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proper use and maintenance of PPE.
• Interpretation and reading of schematics (blueprints).
• Interpretation and reading of work orders.
• Basic hand tool usage, like a tape measure and specialty equipment.
• Learning and operating all equipment in the work area (cell).
• Rework as needed.
• Participate in supporting APS (Altec Production System) activities.  Can attend RCI events.
