Position Summary:

Through continuous training and personal development, the entry-level Hydraulic Test Technician shall be able to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. The Hydraulic Test Technician must be detail-oriented and well-organized and responsible for a wide variety of functions that support the Testing and Production team. Such functions include hydraulic and electrical testing, part handling, cleaning, and labeling; Sub-assembly testing and Top-level assembly Acceptance Testing. The Hydraulic Test Technician must be willing to work with computers and be a motivated team player.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Mate and Assembly components using a variety of tools and methods not limited to Hand, Electric, and Pneumatic tools; Wrenches, Sockets, Screwdrivers, and Torque drivers; as well as custom job-specific tooling
  • Install and test electrical components such as LVDT’s and Switches
  • Must be able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams and schematics
  • Select, set, and follow procedures using fixturing and tooling described in company documents
  • Enter and retrieve data from the company computer system
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Job Qualification Requirements:

Training and Experience:

High School Diploma; Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel

Physical Demands:

  • Push, Pull, and reach overhead; exert and lift 50 pounds to move objects
  • Near acuity and accommodation are required for reading drawings and specifications, measuring instruments, computer screens, and documents.
  • Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes to take appropriate action
  • Working Conditions The Employee May be Subjected to:
  • High noise levels from operating machines
  • Physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts
