Description
ENTEK is seeking applications for a Machine Maintenance Mechanic to join us on-site at our Henderson, Nevada, location (relocation within 40 miles of Henderson is required).

As a Machine Maintenance Mechanic at ENTEK, you’ll be responsible for performing regular maintenance and making any necessary repairs. You will be expected to use your expertise to identify issues with the machinery, fix or replace broken parts, and test the machines to ensure optimal performance. Your previous experience troubleshooting issues and solutions in a manufacturing or industrial environment will be vital for your success. 

Your knowledge of a variety of power tools will come in handy when making repairs. Additionally, you will conduct walk-through inspections and keep accurate records of all equipment-related activities.

As an ENTEK Machine Maintenance Mechanic, you will monitor/track machine tools and support equipment, ensuring proper specifications for safety, quality, and longevity. You’ll also be responsible for designing, manufacturing, and fabricating support equipment for machine shop processing needs.

In your daily work as an ENTEK Machine Maintenance Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to apply Lean manufacturing techniques to optimize our operations. 

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications

Two (2) years of technical training.
Three (3) years of machine maintenance work experience.
Intermediate mechanic, pneumatic, hydraulic, machining, welding, and electrical skills.
Strong time-management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
Ability to self-manage behavior.
Ability to multi-task effectively.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret supplied documentation and instructions.
Satisfactory results from a pre-employment fit-for-duty screen and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

Five (5) years of machine maintenance work experience.
Working Environment

The typical hours for this role are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.

This role is based in a machine shop environment, which may require the employee to work with or be near equipment that uses high heat / mechanical means to create metal-based products. The incumbent will spend most of their 8-hour shift on their feet. This role requires the incumbent to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Incumbents will complete tasks that require finger dexterity, reaching, handling of materials and tools/and equipment, talking, and hearing, as well as near and far sight, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The individual in this role may be required to kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, and/or balance. The role may occasionally expose the employee to fumes and airborne particles, as well as temporarily high temperatures and temporarily bright light. This role requires wearing eye and hearing protection while working.
