Hyundai Infracore is set to intensify its efforts in key European markets.

On September 5th, HD Hyundai Infracore held a groundbreaking ceremony in Mannheim, Germany, marking the commencement of HD Hyundai Infracore Deutschland. The event was attended by CEO Seung-hyun Oh of HD Hyundai Infracore, Christian Specht, First Deputy Mayor of Mannheim, Alexandar Adler, CEO of ADLER Real Estate, and other key stakeholders.

Spanning across a 10,650 square meter site, HD Hyundai Infracore Deutschland is slated to include a three-story office complex. This facility will encompass new office spaces, a training center, a service center, and a parts center, with a targeted completion date in the latter half of 2024. Notably, this German subsidiary will be a unique venture in Europe, as it will be managed directly, deviating from the conventional approach in the construction equipment industry, which typically involves selling products through a network of dealers in each country.

The European market witnesses an annual volume of approximately 150,000 units of excavators and wheel loaders, with Germany and the UK accounting for 45% of this share. Germany holds the lion's share at 25%.
