Komatsu Ltd. has introduced a prototype electric forklift, fueled by sodium-ion batteries, and is poised to commence Proof-of-Concept (PoC) trials at customer facilities starting in March 2024. This milestone represents Komatsu's debut in integrating sodium-ion batteries into machinery, pioneering their use in forklifts globally.
